Miracle After Miracle
Hello everyone greetings from Andrin (Switzerland) and David (Germany),
Hallo alle miteinander liebe Grüsse von Andrin (Swizerland) and David (Germany)
We once again had a good start in the week with sunshine even though the rain was forecasted. We were climbing the ridge for hours with a stunning view on mountains, valleys and lakes combined with some very intentional conversations about things that influence our daily behaviour and thoughts. Not only did God provide good weather but also a small lake to cool down when we arrived at our hut which was huge and provided hospitality for 28 people with a nice oven to stay warm. On the first evening Sulamith and Andrin taught us how to play Polo which apparently is a card game which includes sticking playing card onto your forehead.
We also learned this week about the first church and the importance of baptism. We discussed what our responsibilities as part of the body of Christ are and we compared the local to the global church. In addition to that we gained knowledge about leadership and some concepts of how to practice and teach it.
The second day God once again provided 3 hours of sunshine in between a storm, big wind and a serious amount of rain. Our God is stronger! Thanks for everyone praying back at home for the right weather. The trip once again ended bittersweet with good community as well as saying goodbye to our special guest, Daryl Bay - Pastor of Hope Community Church, that joined us for the last three days.
On Thursday we started the day with worship and intentional Bible studies. After that we went to the beach on Rabbit Island which apparently had no rabbits. But maybe Priscilla found a hedgehog… :)! We had a very active and strategic competition until our leaders Norm and Christy prepared lunch for us. During that game we not only lost a pair of sunglasses but also the lid of a camera in roughly 300.000 square meters. A short prayer and 15 minutes later we were blessed by our Lord with finding both items again. We ended our day at the beach with EVERYONE of our team enjoying the warm ocean and the waves. Today (Friday) we engaged in leading an important part of our morning routine in which we learned that working hard for God is a result of living faith. We also had a very good Swiss bread (Hefezopf). We are looking forward for planing our road trip today and having some time back at OTG Basecamp.
Prayer Requests:
Protection on our roadtrip
That we are able to enjoy our last week here and stay in the present as long as we are here
Rounded ending and having good ideas about how to apply what we learned the last 5 weeks

Euer David (Ded)
Translation: Dear Family and friends, I’m very glad that you finally found our blog and for all your greetings. We have a very blessed time full of miracles. Even though I really enjoy my time here I am looking forward for meeting y’all. I really miss you and I am looking forward for telling you about all the experiences and about everything we learned. There are lots of things that I value more after this experience. That includes a long evening of boardgames. In Love, David (Ded)
