Sunrise Splendour
Hello everybody, it’s us again, here to bring you the second-last blog! This week, we had our last tramp…and, due to weather, back to Abel Tasman we went! We’ve gone from sea(kayaking) to coastal trek (great walk) now inland track. So, we know this park now like the back of our hand! After this tramp we reckon we are now finally born to do squats, since this tramp included much ups and downs.
As we were walking, the atmosphere made us feel like we were in the deep jungle. The viewpoints here and there brought us back into reality though. We also fell in love with Awapoto, the first hut - the sunrise and the view were spectacular, even getting to see the sunrise from our bunks. What a start to the day and a reminder of God’s glory.

We were blessed with an OTG-alumni this week…. please welcome: YELLLLINNN! She brought so much to the team and was our motivator this week. We only spent a few days with her, wish it was more :( but wishing the best for her upcoming plans and adventures!
The weeks are getting more intense as we go and again this week required a lot of thought and intention. As the program is coming to an end, we’ve also talked about revelation and the coming of Christ. And we asked ourselves what our mindset currently is and what it should be. Some initial thoughts on that: There is still so much life to live and things to look forward to…. but are we looking forward to Christ’s coming? Where is our treasure? Because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Getting challenged by the thought if we are living out His mission - what will He find us doing when he comes?
Currently, we are preparing for our next adventure, and only have limited time to get these words out, so we will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. (Pictures speak a thousand words). We are thankful for your prayers and support and hope this finds you well!:)
Tabea: Halloo da draussen:) Eine weitere tolle Woche liegt hinter uns.
