Traveling New Zealand after Off The GRID

I was able to spend some more time in NZ after Off The GRID had finished. As one might not find him- or herself in New Zealand every day, I wanted to take that opportunity to see other parts of the country as well. In the days shortly after the programme, I learned to implement certain goals and habits that I wanted to cultivate. I often went back to my notes and continued to ponder upon the many questions we'd been given and the advice and encouragement we'd received during these 40 days.

After my OTG programme finished, some of our group traveled solo and some have traveled together,  both of which have its advantages and drawbacks. But if you are a future participant of Off The GRID and have the possibility to stay longer, then please don't book your return flight for the day after the programme finishes! There's just too much to see on these two big islands. One could never comprehensively see all of New Zealand's beautiful spots, but already having at least a week or two gives you the possibility to see other parts of the country, meet locals, and have some time to process all that has happened before diving right back into your old environment back home.

Cheers, Jan (Switzerland)
